just so you know.

chobani is on sale at target. for a buck.

IMG_8001

if you go to the centerville location, you can go ahead and forget about getting any mango or raspberry chobani. i cleaned them out of those two flavors. you will be sure to find the newest flavors, though. including black cherry.

IMG_8010

sorry randy, i may be fully stocked with chobani, but you still aren’t getting any. ever.

IMG_8009

not even with those puppy dog eyes.

i went to target yesterday.. intending to pick up the usual 5 or 6 containers of “special flavors” of chobani. you see, marshall literally eats 3-4 containers of chobani each day. however, we buy it at costco because it is cheaper.  hey, it’s an expensive habit! more expensive than cigarettes! (but healthier.) anyway—the costco 12 pack flavors are strawberry, blueberry and peach. but target has almost ALL the chobani flavors.. for $1.39. usually.

IMG_8008

but, like i said, it’s on sale right now. for a buck.

so why don’t you go buy 43 containers like i did?

IMG_8004

marshall said it should last him until i get home from chicago. which is one week from today.

take the poll!

HAHAHA I love this. I just saw the pic on FB and it totally made my day. I don’t eat Greek yogurt, but I’d do the same thing if dark chocolate was on sale. Wait, I totally did when I found Lindt at HomeGoods for a dollar per bar….and promptly bought out their whole stash. Hoarders unite.

  2. February 14, 2011 5:46 am

haha.. my kind of girl! Happy Valentine’s Day!

  3. February 14, 2011 5:56 am

OMG that’s too funny. Will they even fit in your fridge? I think I’m the only blogger that prefers Fage to Chobani, although i like it too and it’s usually cheaper.

  4. February 14, 2011 5:57 am

Whoa! Clean them out you did!! :) What did the cashier say to you? haha

And – not my Target! We only have a partial grocery store in the Target in Normal. Wah :(

I’ve been dying to try the new flavors, but I can’t find them! The good news is my campus sells them, so I can buy tons of other flavors with my meal points.

  6. February 14, 2011 6:04 am

I am heading there today ;)

  7. February 14, 2011 6:05 am

I love the pineapple. I just got a package from Chobani with the mango flavor in it. I can’t wait to try it! The closest Target to me doesn’t carry Chobani. :( But, my Meijer does. They only stock about 3 flavors though. BOO!

  8. February 14, 2011 6:08 am

Wow! That is a LOT of Chobani! I don’t even think I would have enough room in my fridge for all of those! I love pineapple! So good!

  9. February 14, 2011 6:09 am

i have never tried that brand, not sure if i have ever seen it in Canada… but you make me want it.

  10. February 14, 2011 6:38 am

OMG You guys are INSANE. Hilarious. We don’t have the new flavors around yet but I’ve never looked at Target. It isn’t a Super Target though so I’m not sure. I’ll have to scope it out.

  17. February 14, 2011 8:07 am

Wow, that’s such a good deal! Going there today! :)

  18. February 14, 2011 8:10 am

Haha I love this!!! You can’t pass up that deal!

  19. February 14, 2011 8:17 am

Unfortunately I guess I’m missing out as I’ve never tried that brand. I may in the future though. :)

Question–whatever happened with the humungeous mustard you and marshall bought a few months back? you two were going to see how long it takes to go through it and you wanted all of us to guess. I don’t know what made me think of that? lol

    • February 14, 2011 9:24 am

I have no clue! We don’t have a huge mustard at our house… I know that much. Haha I wish I could remember…

  25. February 14, 2011 9:35 am

You crack me up. I couldn’t vote, because my reason is “I don’t eat Chobani because my stomach revolts at dairy.” ;)

  26. February 14, 2011 9:39 am

    Oh my gosh lady!!

BTW, those puppy eyes are priceless….hope he at least got a doggie treat.

  27. February 14, 2011 9:53 am

  28. February 14, 2011 10:11 am

Oh my gosh that is awesome! I am stopping at Target tonight in case it is a nation wide sale. I haven’t been able to find the mango yet but I am dying to try it!

I cannot believe you bought 43 of them! I am so jealous that you found Mango and Black Cherry & Lemon though!

The only good thing about NH is that Chobani is ALWAYS $1.

  31. February 14, 2011 11:14 am

I would LOVE to try the mango and black cherry. They don’t sell them at my grocery store. Perhaps a trip to target is in my near future? Thanks for the heads up!

    • February 14, 2011 1:05 pm

Marshall eats 3-4 Chobani a day. I don’t really ever eat the flavored ones unless it is for a treat, I stick to plain. So really, they are all for him!

  39. February 14, 2011 12:53 pm

hahah I love it, thats totally something I would do. Enjoy your chobani!

  40. February 14, 2011 1:22 pm

haha! Hilarious! I almost can’t believe he eats that much yogurt every day.

  41. February 14, 2011 1:34 pm

Thanks for the heads up! I got all I could when it was on sale at Sunflower Market about a month ago, but they were out of almost all the flavors on the first day! Just got back from the Sandy Target and stocked up on all the new flavors…I only bought half of what you did though ;)

Just curious…why 43 and not an even 40 or 45?

I voted for 0% plain only because I haven’t tried any flavors yet. Lemon is lookin’ great though (:

    • February 14, 2011 2:17 pm

I just started putting them into my cart and would stop for a second then piled more in. Finally I had to walk away!! Then I ended up with 43 and was a little annoyed by the number. When I got home, we had two containers left in the fridge, which rounded out to 45! Phew. But then Marshall ate 3 so I was down to 42. Haha.

  44. February 14, 2011 2:24 pm

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan! Too bad $1.00 is still too expensive for me!! Luckily my mah surprised me with 2 in my rents’ fridge to take home. EFF YAAAAAAAAAA.
    I’m excited.

That stack is soooooooooo colorful and purty though!! I want to try the new flavors!! Pretty sure I’ve only had like plain 0%, plain 1%, and strawberrry. so lame.

  45. February 14, 2011 2:51 pm

They’re on sale in Socal too! Totally cleaned out my Target :)

  46. February 14, 2011 2:52 pm

Holy moly ! Thanks a lot of yogurt ?! How many days will it take M to eat all of that ?? ;P I picked black cherry on your poll, but haven’t actually found it.. just picked it bc it used to be my favorite ‘regular’ yogurt flavor. Out of the chobb’s I’ve tried though, prob have to say vanilla.

  47. February 14, 2011 4:16 pm

This is awesome!! I bet the check out people got a huge kick out of this. Yum, enjoy your Chobani and Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

  48. February 14, 2011 4:19 pm

Nice! Great tower! And your poll was hilarious – especially for those who hadn’t heard of it. haha I chose 0% – I love the plain kind for cooking!

  53. February 14, 2011 8:52 pm

Yay for CHO! I need to hit up my Target to check for sales…
So what’s YOUR favorite Chobani flavor?

    • February 14, 2011 9:02 pm

it’s a tie between pineapple and mango! i think the 2% has waaay better thickness/texture than fat free.

  54. February 14, 2011 10:20 pm

    AMAZING! Happy Valentine’s Day!

  55. February 15, 2011 6:48 am

Haha! Nice…very nice! I like Chobani, but I’m always a bit disappointed with the flavors. I guess I’ll just stick with doctoring up my plain 0%!

  56. February 15, 2011 7:15 am

Wow that is awesome!! I’m happy to see that my vote for pineapple was a favorite!

  57. February 15, 2011 8:38 am
