I actually loved the style of this post! Very amusing. And you’re too sweet to make your boss waffles!

Q1- Italia: trip of a lifetime
Q2- Uhm, TJ’s meatless balls? OK, no, chickpeas. In all forms. Love em straight outta the can, in hummus, baked/roasted, in hummus…more hummus. Although, it’s not very protein-y in my fave form. Whatevs.
Q3- No idea! This is going to sound so awful, but I don’t really like birds. They freak me out.

Note to self: send Janetha my pup pictures!

I hope you have a lovely night and amazing Thursday! xoxo

  2. August 20, 2009 12:18 am

Woah girl, those waffles look fabulous! Make me some? ;) And that is an intense, long workout! Great job :) Those grilled veggies and shrimp look delicious–I wish I had a grill!

    1) Umm…. Arizona? Haha! Yea, I guess where I am now. It’s 2000 miles away from Michigan.

    2) Greek yogurt! Or fish :)

    3) Well I know Michigan’s state bird is the robin. For Arizona… geez, we have these creepy ass looking dinosaur birds here. They freak me out. They’re black with their feathers sticking the wrong way, gangly with long legs, and they have wide nasty eyes and walk around all pre-historic-like with their beaks open. Ok I googled it and Arizona’s bird is the Cactus Wren. I think it should be the Dino Bird.

  3. August 20, 2009 12:34 am

im loving all that grill action! and yeah, you should definitely dig into that hummus ASAP. it’s hummus!

  4. August 20, 2009 12:42 am

JANETHA! I totally just spent all this time searching for the name and pics of those creepy dino birds. Apparently they’re called grackles. There was an article that says how they attack people in AZ. Apparently the female kind is grey, and I saw a pic and it’s the bird that totally divebombed me last year! Anyway, they look like this: http://wingandsong.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/baffin-bay-great-tailed-g.jpg

But I’ve never seen one look as sleek as that.

In AZ they have really thin, ruffled feathers cause they always bathe in puddles and rub em the wrong way to keep cool. So then they kinda look like this, only more extreme: http://sibleynaturecenter.org/photoessays/birdbehavior/07.jpg

    Or this: http://www.thedauphins.net/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/.pond/Great-tailedGrackle.jpg.w560h292.jpg

    but with 70% less feathers.

and now I’ve spent WAY too much time on that. lol! but at least i know those nasty b’s are called grackles. The name even sounds gross!

  5. August 20, 2009 1:12 am

mmm your shake looks amazing and you look super hot drinking it :)
ooo shish ka bobs look amazing!!!
    1. hmm i have been to florida and california… and washington dc. prolly dc then :)

I think sawing the end of the paper towel roll that got dirty might quite possibly the best idea I’ve read in quite a while. Props to Allie! But it looks like the time on microwave says 9:46, not 9:23 tsk tsk!

(hehehe you know I gotta rattle your cage! Just a little!)

OK the furthest I’ve ever traveled Ireland, France, Italy – I think Italy is furtherest east? I’d have go look, my geography skillz are lacking.

Sorry for the belated comment, have a good weekend!
